What Keeps Customers Coming Back To Their Favourite Bar

When it comes to what makes these customers return, this is usually going to be down to personal preference, but there are a few things that can encourage a good level of return business.

Running a successful business often means making sure that you have a decent customer base, because although we all go chasing new business, keeping your existing customers happy and returning is something that is crucial to helping you increase your success, because these are your best customers, especially if you deliver.

One of the biggest influences and factors on customer loyalty is the level of service they receive once they set foot inside your bar. If you are made to feel warm and welcome in any type of shop, leisure outlet or indeed your local pub or bar, then the chances of you returning are going to be very high. People like to feel wanted and customers want to be made to feel like they are special and vital for that business, which is why if you get this right, the rest should be quite simple.

Price obviously also has a big impact on customer loyalty, because if you set your prices correctly for the range of people you are aiming for, then the chances are they are likely to return time after time. If your prices are too high then you are going to either limit how often they can come to your bar or even drive them to a cheaper competitor, so making sure that your price point is spot on is crucial.

You should also think about the type of customer that you are trying to attract, because you then look at the style of your bar or pub to make sure that it fits in with this market.

For example, if you aiming at older clientele, then you will of course try to set a different ambience and “feel” to the bar, whereas if you were going for the younger crowd, you would probably think about a more vibrant feeling and style.

As we mentioned right at the start, every customers needs are going to be different and there is not one model that fits all, but as long as you identify the type of marketing you aiming your bar at and then set the price, style and service accordingly, you will hopefully be in the position of making sure that you can keep the customer a regular customer for a long time to come.
